Lost Angeles Rubber Works Stamp Art Gallery

stamps used: third eye 416-B, shining star 3211-A
plus translucent pink and silver mica Premo polymer clay covering a small metal tin. The silver clay was rolled out until shiny and then stamped. The clay was carefully smoothed onto the metal tin and baked. It was then sanded until smooth. The image looks like it's 3-D but the clay is actually smooth, an optical illusion caused by the "mica shift" in the clay. The roses and leaves were formed from translucent pink clay in a push mold, then baked. They were pressed on the silver clay before it was baked.
